Local Pickup Program
We offer a local weekend pickup program that will help save you money if you're in the Owen Sound, Ontario area. We have tried to develop a program that would be fair to everyone in Canada. If you're in St. John's or Nanaimo and every place in-between, rest assured locals do not get preferred treatment if you need the lens too. It's first come, first serve!
How it works
1) Local pickup at a reduced price is available for weekend rentals only. A weekend is when the lens is picked up on a Friday (All day) and dropped off on a Monday before 12:00PM (Noon) EST.
2) To receive the reduced rate, lenses may not be reserved. You can only rent lenses we have in stock on Friday. Stock levels are updated in real time on the web site, so you know before you come whether or not it will be here for you.
3) If you'd like to reserve a lens, or rent for more than a weekend. The standard rates apply, even if you pick the lens up.
How much does it cost?
1) On a standard Friday to Monday rental, you pay 60% of the 4 day insured rate plus HST. For example, if the lens costs $100.00 for a 4 day rental, you will pay $60.00 for the weekend pickup rental.
2) On a 3 day long weekend when we're closed Friday or Monday, you pay 70% of the 4 day insured rate.
3) On a 4 day long weekend when we're closed on Friday and Monday, you pay 80% of the 4 day insured rate. You may pickup on Thursday after 2:00PM EST and drop off on Tuesday by 12:00PM (Noon) EST.
How can I pay?
1) All payments must be made with credit card. Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
2) You must bring photo identification with you, such as a drivers license or passport. We do not accept health cards or age of majority cards.
Any other things I should know about?
1) You must be a resident of Canada. The credit card must be issued by a Canadian bank (CapitalOne, Citibank, MNBA must be Canadian), and your ID must be Canadian.
2) Late charges will be strictly enforced. If a lens is returned 1 minute past 12:00PM (noon) EST on the Monday or Tuesday (if there's a holiday), you will be charged the full 4 day insured amount. If a lens is returned more than 24 hours late, you will be billed 75% of the 4 day rate each day the rental item is late.
3) There are no quantity discounts.

We're on the 2nd floor. Come through the front door, go up the stairs directly in front of you. Turn all the way right and walk to the end of the hall and come on in.
